Quantification of Rice Root Morphological Characteristics Using 3D Image Reconstruction

Abstract:

In this study, an image capture system was designed to reconstruct 3D images of rice roots, using deep learning to enhance the reconstruction quality. Subsequently, image processing methods were used to quantify the morphological characteristics of rice roots from the reconstructed 3D images.
