Identification of Rice Variety Using Machine Learning

Abstract:

In this study, image processing methods are used to locate rice grains within an image and to quantify their characteristics (i.e. color and appearance). A machine learning model is subsequently developed to identify the varieties of each rice grain present in the image using the extracted data.
